And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat the fruit thereof, and the commodities of the same: but when ye entered, ye defiled [a]my land, and made mine heritage an abomination.

The priests said not, [b]Where is the Lord? and they that should minister the [c]Law, knew me not: the [d]pastors also offended against me, and the prophets prophesied in [e]Baal, and went after things that did not profit.

Wherefore I will yet [f]plead with you, saith the Lord, and I will plead with your children’s children.
